J. PATRICK MCGREGOR, Ph.D. CEO and Co-founder  CEO Patrick McGregor is a founder of BitArmor. Since 2003, he has led the company's financing, operations, and technical initiatives. Dr. McGregor holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University in computer engineering, an M.A. from Princeton University in computer engineering, and both an M.S. and a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University in electrical and computer engineering. He is an expert in computer security and computer architecture, and he has authored and presented many research papers for refereed conference and journal publications. A sought-after speaker, he has presented at numerous industry events, including the RSA and Black Hat conferences in 2008, and has given guest lectures at his alma mater, Carnegie Mellon. Dr. McGregor has also filed for several pending patents involving cryptography and security software. His experience includes technical positions at Hewlett Packard Laboratories and several other software companies, and he has been quoted regarding his security research in national publications including The New York Times. As President, Michael Concordia leads BitArmor’s sales, marketing, and business development efforts. Mr. Concordia has more than 20 years of executive leadership experience at both publicly traded, established companies as well as early stage start-ups. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales for North America with Pittsburgh-based CombineNet. Mr. Concordia previously held executive positions in sales, management, finance, operations, and client development with Procter & Gamble, The Campbell Soup Company, and The Becker Group. Concordia earned an M.B.A. from Loyola College and holds a B.A. in economics from Bucknell University. MATTHEW N. WHITE Vice President of Engineering and Co-founder
Vice President of Engineering Matthew White is one of BitArmor’s Co-founders. He has successfully orchestrated design and development efforts for the company's next generation data control software. Before building BitArmor, Mr. White played a critical leadership role at FORE/Marconi, Plc. in the successful development of a series of next-generation high speed ASIC chipsets for large scale ATM switches and IP routers. He also contributed to a variety of software projects at Marconi, including the design and implementation of a system for high-performance distributed simulations of multi-million gate ASICs. Prior to his tenure at Marconi, Mr. White worked with other organizations and companies including Carnegie Mellon University’s Center for Cognitive Brain Imaging. He earned both an M.S. and a B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. HUGH DOCHERTY Vice President of Product Management
As Vice President of Product Management, Hugh Docherty is responsible for BitArmor's product portfolio and guiding the company’s overall product strategy. Mr. Docherty has more than 15 years of experience bringing new products to market including high-volume internet-based applications and a variety of enterprise-class software solutions. He has held leadership roles in engineering and product management at public and early stage companies including Quest Software, Entigo, GALT Technologies, and Intuit. Mr. Docherty’s experience includes IT infrastructure management, software development, product marketing, and product management. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in electrical engineering. WILLIAM P. EGAN, CPA Vice President of Finance and Administration
As Vice President of Finance and Administration, William Egan is responsible for BitArmor’s finance and administrative functions, including accounting, legal, tax, and human resources. He also participates in fund raising and strategic planning activities, including bank and investor relations. Mr. Egan brings 15 years of experience working mostly with emerging companies to define and implement strategies to build company infrastructure to support fast growth. He is the author of several articles, and has been featured in The Wall St. Journal. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Egan holds an M.B.A. from Robert Morris University and a B.S. in accounting from Duquesne University. JOHN S. KOCAK Vice President of Alliances and Global Accounts
As Vice President of Alliances and Global Accounts, John plays a key role in developing and managing successful programs for global account penetration, channel distribution, and technology alliances. He has more than 25 years of executive sales leadership experience with technology companies like Packeteer, Tacit Networks, Lumeta, Cisco Systems, and Harris Corporation. His career includes strategic planning and delivery of products such as mainframes and servers, database systems, manufacturing resource planning software, advanced LAN/WAN network systems, integrated data-voice-video applications, enterprise systems management and monitoring, QOS applications, network security scanning, and data encryption software. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business marketing from the University of Dayton in Ohio. MANU NAMBOODIRI Vice President of Marketing
Manu Namboodiri joined BitArmor in 2007 and is currently Vice President of Marketing. Most recently, he led product management for Windows Vista deployment technologies at Microsoft. With extensive experience in the technology industry, Mr. Namboodiri has worked for Morgan Stanley and Sun Microsystems in corporate development and product management leadership positions. He has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
